I want to keep one but I don't want to do it wrong can anyone help me out on setup requriments, temperment, acceptaple plants/substrates stuff like that

I would reccomend at least a 100 gallon 6 foot tank as they can reach 12 inches. I would get either smooth rocks or sand as a substrate. Also they do pretty well with all live plants since they won't uproot them or anything from what I've seen. Also they do well in a community set up but they can do well in a semi aggressive setup to.

They also need schools of their own kind.
