Clown Pleco..?

Hi All,

Recently brought a clown pleco for my 20G tank.

The pleco has managed to get inside the wood via a very small hole,

This may seem a stupid questions, will the pleco be able to get back out, as haven't seen him for a few days?

More than likely he can get out . I have a clown pleco and there are times when I don' t see him for days to weeks at a time. Mine seems to like to only come out in the evening and always stays kinda hidden.

i see my clown pleco maybe once every 2 weeks. they like to stay hidden.

Look for him when it's dark. They are ver shy.

Some may be shy but I see my clown pleco out and about every day and it doesn't seem shy at all. They do grow to about 5" and poop alot so I don't think it's a great choice for a 20 gal tank. I would place an algae wafer or blanched zucchini in front of the hole and watch for it to come out if you're worried it's possible it could be stuck.
