I have a 55g African cichlid tank with a 4 inch pleco. How long will I be able to keep him in here?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm In my non-expert opinion SAFELY about a year. They grow fast and make poop faster than any other fish I've seen besides oscars.

Hmm if you do consistent frequent water changes I'd say 7 inches give or take 1 or 2
