Compatible fish with platies??

I'm getting a platy for Christmas and I'm really excited!! I would like to know which other fish they can be kept with though. I did research on pretty much everything else but I don't know how to go about finding out which fish I can have it with??


2 months until I get my Platy!!

Platy's will go with pretty much anything,but I would get more than one,and get just males if possible unless you want to be overrun with babies
They can be a little boisterous so keep with active swimmers.

Oh and can't forget tetras and barbs although they might nip your platys or other fish fins
