Right now I'm trying to use Cupramine to treat a bout of Ich, but I'm having trouble with the Salifert Cu test kit I bought to test the Copper levels. I've purposely started out underdosing, because I have a porcupine puffer in there that I'm trying not to overwhelm. Problem is, I've dosed enough now where I =should= be seeing some level of copper, but the Salifert kit doesn't seem to be detecting any at all. It states that it works for anything but chelated copper, which by my understanding, Cupramine is not.

I can't seem to find Seachem's test kit anywhere, so I'm a bit at a loss as to what to do next. I'd really hate to keep shelling out money to try to find a kit that works.

Anyone have experience working with Salifert and Cupramine?
