coral banded molted

So my coral banded molted and I'm wondering if I should leave it in there our take it out. He seems to be messing with it. Will my fish eat it or will it just rot away?

I've read you can take it out or leave it. Apparently the CUC will take care of it eventually. Personally, I take it out.

My vote is to leave it in. It's mostly calcium and why would you want to take calcium out of your tank?
