Okay before I start I want to say that I'm new to the world of corals. I was given golden polyps and mushroom corals for my new reef tank but my one mushroom is growing over my polyps. Is this something i should trim and replace or ignore it. The mushroom is on top of the polyps so what do you guys think I should do? Thanks.

The mushroom will take over and destroy the polyps, theres really nothing to do but let whats happening happen. If you trim it the mushroom will still eventually grow back over it. You could frag the polyps if you wanted and move them

Could I move the polyps to another area in the tank?
