Crazy Female Cherry Barb?

My sweet little cherry barb I've had for several years has suddenly started acting aggressive toward her tank mates. She's nipping at the gold barbs, danios, Cory's & neons.
She's always been so docile. The male cherry barbs are hiding from her too.
Any ideas why she'd suddenly go nuts? All the tank chems are fine and no sign of any other problems.

Is it possible she has eggs somewhere? If there's males, she may have laid eggs and is guarding them. Or perhaps there's too many males and she's been harassed by them. Just some ideas

I don't think she's laid any eggs but I guess it's possible. She has settled down again so maybe they hatched and then got eaten before I noticed the them.
