Hello,
I am writing on behalf of a family member on this one,
'if there is a dead fish in the tank but you dont know where it is - do you leave it or go searching for it? And find some horrible sight?'

How do you know if you have a dead fish, if you don't know where it is....

Ahh I see that makes more sense. As for looking for it i would recommend looking simply because as it breaks down i think it would release ammonia and bad stuff. But i have seen in poor quality pet stores with dead fish that were decomposed just to the cartilage. So its probably not a big deal but if you don't take care of it it will just be worse later on.

Search, cause if its dead and you leave em, you COULD introduce an ammonia spike that will wipe out the tank.
