Is it normal to find a dead fish stuck in the filter? I have no idea if it was dead before this. Does that mean my flow is too high? It was a neon tetra (so small fish).

I reduced my flow on the filter in case but dont want to mess up my levels either.

Thoughts?

It was my first dead fish ?
Kind of creepy to see it stuck like that.

Hard to say without knowing anything about your filter or your tank but more than likely the fish died and then got sucked in by the filter as it was floating.

What are the parameters of your tank? What filter are you running?

I agree that it most likely died before getting sucked into the filter.

Tank is a 55 gallon. And filter is a fluva c4 ?? Sorry trying to remember off the top of my head.
