dead inverts!!

False alarm folks I thought for sure the michaels pistol was dead turns out he just molted. And dug another burrow on the back side of my tank lol woops
 
Yup, those shrimp moltings always get me. For whatever reason, i'm still not used to seeing the old exoskeleton....always think it's a dead shrimp.
 
Yeah the first few times my coral banded and my hermits did it I was franticly looking around my tank for hours looking for all of them. I just figured on day 2 in the tank it was more probable that he was dead than molted. But it seems as if him and my yellow watchman are getting along just how they are supposed to now
 
yeah, id up the length of your acclimation process, i know of people that run 12+
hr acclimation- might be a little overkill, but inverts are fairly sensitive to osmotic shock. my inverts are usually run for about 4hrs- longer if the lfs parameters are off standard.
