I think my live rock is dead.I have a 75 gallon tank thats been neglected over the past year do to working on and off again out of the country.Theres no live stock, just the rocks and Im wonder what to do if they are dead.I want at least one fish in this thing and if the rocks dont have growth on them I dont mind just as long as there still safe with live stock.

WELCOME TO AA!!!

Please don't cycle with live animals

1. Is there still water in the tank?
2. LR will "grow" in time.
3. If there is no water, you can cycle your tank with that rock and be fine.

Keep us posted!

There is water in tank and filter is still running. It has sand substrate, lights are very rarely on,skimmer is unplugged and there are two pumps in opposite ends of the tank. What do I need to do to get this thing ready for one fish.
