Came home today and i had a dead red cherry shrimp half eaten by Corys. Not the first time its happened. Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0. I did a large water change yesterday 50%. I always do a large water change on the weekends. Didnt get a parameter reading before the water change. If my Nitrates are 0 guess i changed to much? I also dosed ferts this morning. I use Api leafzone and Seachem flourish (non-excel). Dosed this morning since i forgot to yesterday after the Water change. My nitrates are normally 10-20 by the time the weekend comes around. So what could have been the cause? Drastic water change, ferts overdose? Is there any correlation between ferts and shrimp death?
