Dehumidifier water = RO/DI?

I am running a dehumidifier in my clean finished basement which pulls moisture from the air at a rate faster than most RO units with no water waste. Is this collected dehumudifier water safe for fish and good soft water that I can use to breed discus and rams? My basement air is very clean...
