I am currently just using tap water and i seem to always have brown algea...i have a heck of a good source for DI water...would this reduce tha amount of brown algea or maybe even get rid of it all? :D Just curious...thanks for the help

DI water will help your algae issue as long as your other husbandry practices are sound. Just make sure whoever you are getting it from replaces the cartridges regularly. If you use it for topoff it should be buffered. For water changes it is not necessary as your salt mix will do that.
