I've read that during cycling process that you may experience

I've read that during cycling process that you may experience a fine brown dusting on all rock and sand bed called diatoms. It says it will disappear as fast as it appeared. I was wondering how long this process last? It started about a week ago and has gotten over everything. Should I be concerned or patient

Always patient it will go away not as fast as you want them to but eventually you will notice a difference as your tank matures

I have a 75 fowlr it has been up and running for a year in november and im dealing with diatoms . Do u belive that this will clear up ?

I wasn't aware that water changes were necessary during cycle.
