Discus Injury

Hello everyone....

Last night i realised that one of my large discus has injured its eye.
at the moment ther seems to be a little hole in the top of the eye socket, causing the socket to swell and force the eye out. Its still moving and can still see out of that side.

Will the discus loose his eye?
and whats the best treatment for him....?

So far just melafix has been added to help, dont want to net and quarantine because of further possible damage to the eye.

Eye injuries in discus are common. I removed all driftwood and rocks from my discus tanks because discus dart when spooked. Don't panic trotty. Melafix is the right thing. Just let time do it's best to help heal the eye.
