So my brother and i had a tube of silicone, a 5 gal bucket, pvc, and lots of left over tubing and this pond was in desperate need of a new filter so we decided to try and make our own. It has a pump in the pond, then the water runs through a UV sterilizer and into the bucket filled with bio balls and out the bottom and back to the pond. It seems our albino channel catfish Poncho is liking it.
