I needed something to catch a couple damsels. I like to build things if I can its in my nature. I bought all the materials at a local home depot store. It's a small sheet of acrylic its 3/16" of a inch thick. A tube of GE silicone and a bottle of super glue and a roll of painter tape. You will need a table saw to cut everthing. You can make it what ever size you want mine is 9 1/2" tall and 8" deep. This is the first one I ever built. You need to build it like a box except for the top I cut mine 1/4" short for the door. And you will need two small strips for guides, and cut the door about 1" taller so you can attach a piece of fishing string. Here are a few pictures. Waiting on glue to dry to test will keep everyone updated.

I think for everything was around $35 dollars. I just tried it out working pretty good. I just caught my blue headed wrasse.

Was looking online seen a few designs and came up with my own. If I can make something and save a few bucks I'm all for it. Seams to work pretty good.
