DIY Multi Tank Stand - Need Advice

What up everyone?

I'm looking to build a multi-tank stand for 20G, I'm thinking three to four 20s high, and probably two 20s wide.

I am doing my own research, but I'd like to see if anyone has some personal experience with multi-tank stands or any plans that could help me out.

Any other information you can give me would be great.

Also, I did just come across this setup, using only cender blocks and 4x4 wood.

I just don't know how secure that would be compared to a made one, but it would be a lot easier and cheaper.

If you're only doing 20s, you can build a simple rack with 2X4 and plywood.

DIY Multi Tank Stand - Reinsurance anyone?

What up,

Back with my multi-tank stand stuff. I am planning on going on the cheap side, and slowly build up to better stuff. As like most business do, slow upgrades, but you got to start somewhere.

The plan I was going to use was from this site:

It is a simple setup using 4x4s and cement and cinder blocks:

I am going to fit the dimensions to fit what I need, which is to try to get 3 20s across, and 2 20s high.

Just wondering if I should be using anything else on this setup for more reinsurance that it is stable and won't come crashing down.

That will work.

I have many tanks stacked 3 high. 20g and 30g.
I just use pressure treated 2x4's and build to exact measurments of the tanks and put bracing where needed.
