Do i need a heater

i live in fl so it never gets very cold here, and my tank has no heater in it, but the temp stays around 76-78 F...i am going to have tropical community tank will i need a heater

That should be fine but you may want to have a heater on hand if it is needed due to illness or anything.

+1 its always good to have a spare heater or 2 incase of emergencies.

+1 for needing a heater for treating some illnesses like Ick. Other than that, your room temp should be more than enough.
