Does anyone know how to properly take off stick on thermometers

One of my older aquariums got a small scratch on the front glass and it is really bothering me. I was just going to turn the tank around until I realized I have to take off the stupid stick on thermometer. In the past I've tried taking these thermometers off and they are a real pain. If anyone knows how please share. Thanks

Yep, a razor blade to remove the sticker and a little rubbing alcohol to remove any sticky residue (don't get the alcohol in the tank).

Thanks, I don't think I have rubbing alcohol right now so will vim or windex do the trick.

I'd give the Windex a try, it works pretty well on somethings.

acetone or finger nail polish remover would be best
