Very hard to tell but the top one could be a sponge of some sort.

The first pic is definitely an encrusting sponge of some sort. I have one just like it. Kinda purple and it spreads like crazy in my tank anyways. The second also looks like some sort of sponge. Sponges are great!

They capture and use the organics in the water to eat. Which is good.
