Take a water tester bottle that your test kits come in and drill a shiz-ton of holes into it with a drill bit of your liking. I wanted mine black so i coated it in Performix Plasti-dip (an all use rubber coating. Home Depot or lowes for 5-7 dollars) and cut a square hole for a tight fit around the intake and vualla. You could do only the bottom and full it with pillow stuffing and gravel for a first stage filter. even a sponge if you wanted! I've spawned fry doing this with platys (with a sponge in it) when i had them. Cheap, inexpensive, and looks alright. (Excuse my crappy plati-dip job) ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1420520832.588861.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1420520885.941294.jpg
