as the title says, don't mess with success, last night I got bored and started " tinkering " withthe filter on my pleco tank, pretty much I wAs trying to make a suraface skimmer from pvc plastic piping and elbows, it would have worked alot better if I would have actually mesaured the inside diamterter of the intake tube on the filter ( hob type ) thank goodness for spare parts lol I still think it would have woirked though
