My 180 Gallon discus tank has become too much maintenance and I want to down size but I'm not sure to what. After I sell the discus I will be left with tons of plants and driftwood and about 30 Cardinal tetras, 20 rummy nose tetras, 4 plecos and about 10 cory cats. I'm thinking they would go well in a standard 75/90 gallon but I need ideas on an eye catcher/center piece fish(s) to replace the discus? I would love GBRs again but they are as sensitive as the discus and I'm just not around enough anymore to give them the water changes they need. So what would you guys put with the catfish and schoolers in lets say a 75G? I would love a 70 Square (30x30x17) but I cant find one anywhere used so I'm thinking a 75/90 will be best.
