Dwarf gourami died

I came home tonight to a dead dwarf gourami. He was in my 55 gallon tank. My params are 0 0 <15 and 8.0. Please refer to my profile for my stock.

I'm really not sure what happened he is about two years old. Was it simply his time.

Mine recently died as well. He was also right around 2 years old.

He was an adult when I got him In September of 2011. I have another in the tank that I got at the same time and he seems perfectly fine. They have never faught either.

it's hard to pin point what happened when there's no visible evidence. I choose to think on the optimistic side that it's probably time for him to go especially when you got him as an adult.

Dwarfs live 3-5 years, so if you got him when he was a adult. Best to say it was his time

DGs are known to die for no reason due to the breeding in captivity. I had one die out of the blue before myself. Sorry for your lose.
