So today I came home to see my 55g mbuna tank leaking all over my bedroom floor (w carpet). I emptied the tank and moved the fish to buckets. Luckily I was already planning on getting a new stand, so the guy I was buying from threw in a 55 for $20 more.

I’m waiting for the floor to dry before I move in the new tank and stand. So I set up an old 20g tall with a fluval 406 that was running on the tank.
There are:
2 Venustus
3 Kenyi
4 yellow labs
2 Acei

One of the acei is holding

Do you think they should be fine in there overnight and maybe even until Sunday?

Should I put and rocks in there for them, or will that just lead to too much aggression?

If you got no choice then you got no choice. Water changes and heater .. If you can get air in it too.

Good luck

Everybody seems settled in and not stressed, so that’s good. The floor is damp so I’ll probably move everything in by the afternoon tomorrow

It'll be fine short term. Your running a filter and I assume you got a heater from the old tank.
