Got a little (now anyways) catfish. The glass on our 3 mon old 64 ltr tank was getting pretty cloudy with the start of algae growth.

He/she loves it. All day flicking from glass to plants to ship wreck, etc. Glass almost clear in 24 hours. Started thinking, with shrimp (4), Assassin snails (4) and loaches (2), will the Bristlenose have enough algae over time? Will it suppllement in detritus?

Any opinions?

Algae only makes up part of a bristlenoses diet. It should be supplemented with a variety of different foods (pellets and green vege). They also need wood to chew on. It aids their digestion. There is another thread with someone asking what to feed their bnp. I'll see if I can find it and link it for you.
