Equipment check...Newbie!!

I have a 55 gal tank that i want to set up as a reef system...I figure Ill just list what i have so far and im of course open to suggestions...

55 gallon tank
Emperor 400 Biowheel Filter
200 watt submersible heater
270gph powersweep powerhead
4 65watt pc lighting hood
80 lbs seaflor special grade reef sand
red sea prizm deluxe hang on skimmer

will get...
20lbs live rock
35 lbs foundation baserock
45 lbs select fiji premium liverock

Any suggestions as to what else i may need...or what i should def upgrade??

I am also on the fence for buying a RO/DI filter...should i get one?? is it necessary??

You need much more circulation, between 800-1100 GPH total. I would also get a second heater for redundancy. Can not go wrong with a RO unit. Be sure to get corals suited to your lighting.
