Just getting looking for plans or ideas on how to convert an esky into a tank for about 2 weeks (6 days actual driving).
This is just incase my job location changes at the end of the year.
I was thinking car aerator and a vent tube out the top.
Ideas on this project would be appreciated.

Temp could be an issue, the esky inside temp shouldn't change to much, just getting it to the right temp will be the challenge.
Also I was thinking of putting in a removable tray inside to help keep the water from any violet splashing around, or some kind of baffle system.

A baffle system sounds a great idea, I'd be interested in pics if you go down that road. I assume also if you have the esky fairly full of water to stop it sloshing around, that may mean some could slosh out on corners?

Do you have to worry about quarantine on state borders or anything?

If you wanna go all out you could buy a ac-dc converter and run a heater and air stone in the esky and whatever else you may need

I'm in Australia and they only worry about fruit and veg on boarders.
Already have a air pump with a cigarette lighter adapter for the car.

Townsville to Sydney, with about a week stopover in Toowoomba to visit friends.
Thinking about converting a rectangle plastic tub into a sump to use on the long visits with friends. I will have the trailer to carry additional stuff.
