I was looking at the corals in the gallery and noticed some shots where the coral appeared flourecent. Is this enhanced or what type of lighting and corals would you recomend to achieve this look. Is the glowing from black lights or moonlights. Just curious and looking for feedback.

having my actinics on alone create that effect in some of my polyps and mushrooms, that might have been it

The ones I`m refering to are at night I think???? They were featured on the homepage for this site today in gallery...

My gallery has a picture in it of my candy canes under my actinic lighting. That's probably the type of effect that you're talking about. It makes the florescent corals really pop.

The second one is definitely actinics. Don't know on the first. Doubt it. Must be 14k bulbs. Just a guess.
