Hi guys one of my dwarf neon rainbows has suddenly got fat and spends most of its time at the top of the tank. The rest of the fish are fine I have tested the water amonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrate 10 (tap water shows as ten). The tank is a juwel Rio 125. Any thoughts?

Are there any other rainbows? It could be bloat or she might have eggs.

I went to my lfs today and found out she is egg bound so have bought a nest ball and with any luck my male will be up to the job and I might have babies soon :)

The nest ball hasn't worked so not sure if she is egg bound. She he's been swimming at the top of the tank for the last couple of days but now she is just rolling and I'm not sure what to do for the best.

May be swim bladder disease. Ammonia and nitrite don't play a role in this part. She is hanging out in the top because swim bladder puts a bubble inside the fish's belly which forces the fish to the surface. Feed it peas and hope for the best
