Feeding anemone

I got this clownfish and anemone the other day. I feed my fish brine and the clown fish will take the anemone a few pieces. Someone told me to give the anemone some Sally silver sides. I did and the anemone ate it, the this morning the looked like it puked them back up. Is this normal. If not what should I feed the anemone?

Don't you have to poop eventually after you eat.LOL. Anemones do to,just don't overfeed it.

yep, small pieces are best as well. and it most likely was pooping out the food. lol

The fish that came back out was not digested.

GHow big was the piece of fish you gave him? If it's too big they cant digest it. I fed maybe a third or a quarter of a silverside, like the size of a dime maybe.

Best to target feed it. Thaw the food, break it up close to him, and he'll grab it..

When I had mine I did not target feed mine. All it needs is what it gets from the lighting and water column IMO and experience. The clown will help to feed it also.
