How to determine whether they're getting enough food, we're definitely not over feeding. They always finish everything but how will I know if they are getting enough?

IMO if they beg for more. My Neon Tetras will actually follow me across the length of the tank if they want more food. Also, if they seem to have a less rounded belly or a smaller stomach, they need to be fed more. Make sure you are feeding them no more than they can eat in 2-3 minutes!

Try feeding small amounts more often if u have the time.
