i've never had a saltwater tank and i don't plan on having one quite yet because i just don't know enough about them.
can anyone give me a rundown on what kinds of things i need to know? what are the key differences between freshwater and saltwater tanks? what extra equipment do you need? what's the smallest a marine tank should be and why? what's the best way to start? are there types of saltwater tanks that are easier than others? is there a such thing as a "practice" tank with live rocks or very simple fish?
