Fish "laying" about?

This may be a really stupid question, but I just can't recall if any of my prior fish had ever done this.

So,is this is a normal thing for a betta (or fish in general) to do?

He lounges. Laying down ....sometimes on different objects in the tank(side of rock, a depression in the gravel, a big plant leaf).

Resting?


Just wondering.

Yes bettas can rest on objects. They particularily like live plants to rest on.

they actually sell betta hamocks that float like an inch under the surface and resemble leafs

I haven't seen mine do that yet..
