Fish outgrew tank. Need new home.

I don't have any knowledge of fish or aquariums, but I'm trying to help a local restaurant find a home for some fish who have outgrown their current tank. The tank is fairly large, but the fish are at a size now that they don't fit comfortably in their home. The restaurant is willing to give the fish to someone who has a tank or pond big enough to accommodate them. Any ideas on how I can help make this happen? Any help would be appreciated, and I can get any information about the fish that's needed. Thanks!

In addition to needing some pictures or additional information to be able to help much, I also agree that CL is an option as well as donating the fish to a local store. Some stores will give credit for trade-ins. Some will not. It all depends.

If the fish are fairly large, selling/trading locally would be best. Shipping can be expensive
