What size tank do you have and what do you have in it? That will make a huge difference in what might be recommended for you.

I have a 45 gal., tall aquarium. No fish yet. Just snails that came in on plants. I like the snails, but am afraid I will soon be overrun.

Not sure about fish, but assassin snails do a good job.

I would definitely look into assassins. They don't overbreed like other species do and they get rid of a pest problem really quick. You'd only need a few of them for your tank.
Do pick out whatever pest snails you see, though, if you don't want them. If you can see 20, you probably have 200.

This is very helpful! I think those assassins will do the trick. I really don't have the heart to kill the snails myself. But if another creature can keep them in line I'm fine with that. Thanks y'all!
