Fish wrapping around aqua Clear intake pipe?

I have had a number of fish die lately because they have wrapped around the intake of my Aqua Clear 30 ? I have had my 10 G up and running for a year in April. Is this something with Aqua Clear's or Am I not regulating the Flow properly?

It's more likely that they died for some other reason, and then got stuck to the intake.

Same here, Test your water and go from there. You've had them this long. Unless the expiration date of the fish are up. Some live longer than others.
