Flourish Excel and Assassin Snails

I want to use Excel for my plants, but I have Assassin Snails and Otos in the tank. I've read that Excel will kill snails and I've read that it won't hurt them. Anyone have any ideas or experience with Excel and snails and otos?

I use excel in my tank with ottos and snails and they appear fine

I use an excel equivalent in my tanks with both without issue. Excel can kill fish and inverts if very over dosed so stick to the correct dosage and it will be fine.

I will just tell you I killed mystery snails & shrimp dosing the 'suggested' dose after a wc of a capful per 10g. Wont do that again! Keep in mind the active ingredient is used to sterilize medical equipment (among other uses). I havent had any issues dosing 1-2 capfuls per 50g whether I do a wc or not.
