Fluval 406 intake/output kit on a 405?

Hello everyone. I'm new to the hobby and I picked up a Fluval 405 on FB that did not have the valve or hosing. I went to Amazon and saw the complete intake/output kit for the 406.

Does this valve kit fit on the 405 as well? There is no real definitive answer in the questions section.

Also, is there a difference between 405 and 406 tubing?
