Fluval Stratum and Cory Panda ?

Substrate wise that is fine, the gravelly substrate being dangerous to Cory barbels is overstated and I'd estimate most barbel degradation supposedly caused by rough substrate is in fact linked to nitrAtes

I'm not high nitrates, the substrate look easy to move for fish (according to the simaensis (SAE) I had) but I have read that corys's need was sand...

Do fluval substrate do the job ?
