it was in a thread im subscribed to, but it was said that surface area is what a person needs for a fuge im glad you are getting to use a 75g. i would like to do the same but ive got to make what i have work.

Was going to use my 90, but got my current fish in there.. Lol...

just my novice opinion, but i think the 75 is better for your sump anyway,

speaking of sumps.... i think ill try to make a little more headway on mine.

Ahh crap im sorry, im extremely forgetful. What is their gph rating?

400... Had to look them up. Lol... They put out a good flow.

:( I was hoping for a lil higher. My marineland 1050's put out 350, not really worth it for another 100 gph total ya know

Yeah, they compare those two. Say the 802's had better flow. But I feel u. If u know anyone that wants them, $35 for the pair + shipping...

here is where im at.... started striping the seals out of the old 55g tank we had laying around. wish the 75g dt seals came out that easy.

measured 14" up from the bottom. marked lines

look up around the corner and see sweety pie hiding a grin.

so it looks like im in the market for a new tank to use for a sump.

ha, thanks... ill do better on the next one. at least i have glass for my baffles now.

didnt you say you had a 40g breeder laying around?

I used to, but when it didnt fit I returned it. Got it from Petco during the 1 dollar per gallon sale and saved a ton of money. Sadly it was useless

gee, that just plainly blows

If you haven't decided on a skimmer yet, you should check out Eshopps. I have the PSK-150 for my 75 gallon tank (20L sump). It's the only skimmer I've ever had, since this is the only sw tank I've ever had, but for the price, I challenge anyone to find more bang for the buck.

I have an eshopps psk 150 and to be quite honest I love it. Took a bit of tweaking to get it just right but pulls alot of gunk. Did take at least 2 weeks to break in though.
