I just bought a bottle of the Jungle lab test strips. Before, I have never tested for GH or KH (I had one of those Master test Kits). Both of my tanks tested GH - 150 and KH - 120. I don't know too much about GH and KH. I was wondering if these were okay readings.

the test strips are pretty inaccurate.. the liquid reactant tests are the ones to get.. but a reading above 55 or so is good enough for a PH buffer.. your KH is about 7 degrees of hardness at 120ppm.. 3 is needed to keep your PH stable.. GH is more importaint for spawning discus or other soft water fish, but there are better measures then GH used for that, TDS is the measurement taken.. HTH
