Giving a variety of flakes?

Is it worth giving your fish a variety of different flakes? Do they all taste different or are they more or less the same?

Also, are there any different homemade treats for a normal community besides the usual bloodworms, brineshrimp etc?

This is probably a really obvious question, but I am not quite sure

I vary my feeding with pellets and flakes, many have a plethora of foods at hand.

Hopefully someone else can chime in...

Thanks, I never realised they did pellets for tropicals! Are they just for larger community fish or are they ok for small community fish (e.g Cherry barbs, small(ish) tetras etc)

I have Hikari micro pellets, they are for small fish like terra but my gourami loves em too

For my tanks I also have flakes and pellets/granular foods as well a wafers I have a whole meal plan including frozen blood worms

I have 1 kind of flake food and algae wafers. I just got frozen brine shrimp for my scarlet badis and am feeding that to fry as well.
