I have a thin layer of algae on my glass almost everyday it's getting annoying to keep the glass clean. Is there anything I could do?

Although snails can quickly get out of hand. Bristlenose plecos will stay small, about 3-4 inches. Thats what I have and theyre doing an awesome job.
