gold gourami

My gold gourami has these black blotches on both side. Are they harmful?

My white kissing gourami has this also, but just one and he has had it over a year.

Not sure, it doesn't seem to bother him and none of my other fish have it so I just left it alone

I have found the best treatment is sometimes nothing at all. When u start dumping a bunch if chemicals and meds in a tank it makes more problems. Unfortunately letting nature take its course is my motto.

Yea mine has some of that on them too it's nothing.
