Gold Inca Snail sick?

So my gold inca snail has been hanging out of its shell but it's still alive, it sometimes moves around but most of the time it's just in its shell in the back of the tank or just hanging out of its shell, it's been going on for over 3 weeks! Is he sick?

Is it having difficulty carrying it's shell? Does the gap between its body and the shell look bigger than normal?

55 gallon elephant nose tank.
30 gallon boraras ,bamboo shrimp, crs,rcs and different snails.

No I don't think so he just randomly started doing it 3 weeks ago, I mean he's still alive,. So what would I do if he did have trouble carrying the shell?
