Gold torch

Just picked up this gold torch yesterday, do they split heads like a frogspawn and grow at the same rate? Also I never really feed my frogspawn, should I feed them both and what type of food? I would like to frag them both out eventually the frogspawn is almost ready and hope the torch grows as fast!

Don't feed it. I don't feed mine and it's grown from 2 heads to 7. Here's mine.
